Alvin Mottley is a twenty-three year old young man with a keen interest in Agriculture. This love for this sector is reflected in his life decisions. He travelled to Venezuala, to the Simon Boulevard United World College and gained his Associate Degree in Farm Management. Recently, Alvin was accepted to the University of the West Indies – St. Augustine Campus, to pursue a three-year Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture.

Alvin Mottley started his agricultural business, Border Green Agro products, less than six months ago. The business is located at Sherbourne, St. John on three acres of land and he also has leased two acres of land in Carters, of the same parish, where he grows his produce. Currently he grows tomatoes, hot peppers and cabbage and is currently hoping to expand his operations to include yams, sweet potatoes and bora beans.
